About Me
Welcome to my Web page. I’m an orthopedic surgeon specializing in total joint replacement. I came to Kaiser Permanente because of the opportunity to work with a group of physicians providing high-quality care. I’ve stayed here because I strongly believe in the effectiveness of our care and am celebrating a 25-year work anniversary.
Biography
I did my residency training at UC Davis, which provided me with a very solid foundation in general orthopedics. I am a board-certified member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. I specialize in hip and knee total joint reconstruction. Through Kaiser Permanente, I was trained in England to perform Birmingham Hip Resurfacing (BHR) surgery, which can be an alternative to total hip replacement. I’ve performed more than 400 hip resurfacings. I’m a member of the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.
About my practice
I love the practice of orthopedic surgery. I understand that making decisions about surgery is complex and needs to be addressed differently for each person. I welcome the involvement of members and their families in the decision-making process. We are able to offer our members a wide variety of specialized surgical options for their musculoskeletal disorders. Our goal is to provide our members with high-quality orthopedic care in a comfortable environment so that quality of life can be restored.
How I thrive
I graduated from UCLA and am thrilled to be living in the city where I grew up. I love the Southern California lifestyle. I enjoy spending time with my wife and 3 sons. As a family, we spend a lot of time together traveling, exercising, and enjoying good food. I try to set a good example with healthy living habits and sharing a positive attitude.
