About Me

I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. My family and I came to the Northwest over 30 years ago. I was a solo practitioner in Internal Medicine in Eugene, Oregon, for over 20 years before joining Kaiser Permanente. I was drawn to the Kaiser Permanente model of medical care because we are able to coordinate a variety of resources to provide comprehensive healthcare for our patients.

About my practice

I have transitioned from a traditional Internal Medicine practice to specializing in the medical care of hospitalized patients. I understand that being in the hospital can be very challenging for patients and their families. I feel that it is important to utilize the latest technology and treatments, but also to understand each person's unique needs in the hospital. As a Hospitalist with Kaiser Permanente, I am able to coordinate each patient's hospital treatment with their clinic physician and specialists.

How I thrive

I enjoy hiking and running to stay fit. My wife and I are raising our grandson, which keeps us on our toes.
