About Me
I was born and raised on Long Island. I lived in south Jersey for six years prior to moving to NJ in December 2017. I chose Colorado due to all the outdoor activity it provides along with the city feel of Denver. I became a counselor do to wanting to help others through challenging life events.
About my practice
Populations: children, teens, adults, seniors, groups, and families. Specialties: ADD/ADHD, anxiety, bipolar, depression, trauma, PTSD, OCD, grief/loss, mood disorders, parenting, PTSD, schizophrenia, other chronic conditions, and relational difficulties. Interventions: DBT, TF-CBT, CPT, mindfulness ACT, solution-focused brief therapy, motivational interviewing, person-centered. When working with children I focus on the family and behavior modification tools. I also have experience working with adults with dual diagnosis, depression, anger, anxiety, and trauma. I tend to give clients small goals or homework to implement the tools we discussed in session.
How I thrive
Activities I enjoy maintaining a life/work balance are: aerial yoga, reading, running, exploring new areas, going back to the east coast to visit family and friends, baking, and painting.
