About Me

I am from Ohio and went to the University of Cincinnati. I received my urology training at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. I chose urology because of the technological aspect of the endoscopic and minimally invasive surgeries we perform.

About my practice

I enjoy practicing general urology, but I do have a focus on laparoscopy and robotic surgery. The practice of medicine is changing rapidly in terms of health care delivery, and our urology department is on the forefront of these changes. I am a board certified urologist, a member of the American Urologic Association (AUA), Southeast Section of the AUA and the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons. I benefit from these memberships by utilizing the educational materials they provide, by attending their various meetings, and by collaborating with other members of these groups. I look forward to the future of urology in general, and minimally invasive surgery in particular.

How I thrive

I grew up in Ohio and I like many sports teams, especially the Cincinnati Bearcats, my alma mater. I also enjoy following the local sports teams here in Atlanta. My family loves to find new restaurants and parks in Atlanta - there always seems to be a new place to visit! I also enjoy swimming, running, landscaping and spending time with our children.
