About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I’m very happy to have a chance to introduce myself, as you may wonder: Who is my primary care physician?

Biography

I was born in Saigon, Vietnam. As both my parents are physicians and wonderful role models, I decided at a very young age that I wanted to be a doctor. I moved to the United States at age 14 and set out to follow my goal. I speak fluent Vietnamese and also love to discuss poetry, if time permits. I also speak a not-so-bad-but-rusty French that I love to practice when people let me. I am married and have a son who is studying at the University of Chicago.

About my practice

I feel very honored that you entrust me with your care. I want to be your partner in health, and it helps me better care for you when you are actively involved in taking care of your own health.

How I thrive

I try to live the same healthy lifestyle that I recommend to my patients. My family life is my highest priority outside of work. I enjoy watching my son grow up and attending his piano performances. Zen Buddhism has recently been an effective tool to help me see things clearly on stressful days. I always welcome a good book, a good cup of coffee (decaf, of course), and good friendship.
