About Me
Welcome to my Web page. I'm happy to have this chance to introduce myself to you and tell you about my work as a physician and as a physician administrator at Kaiser Permanente. I've been practicing as a dermatologist for more than 18 years at Downey Medical Center. In 2011, I transitioned into my administrative role as an assistant area medical director. I feel fortunate to be able to work at Kaiser Permanente as both a clinician and an administrator who is working to make our organization the best health care delivery system in the country.
Biography
I grew up in Maryland. My higher education took me to Nashville, Chicago, and Boston. I spent four years in the United States Air Force, serving in Japan and Biloxi, Mississippi. The weather, naturally, brought me to Southern California.
About my practice
I'm fortunate to be working with a dedicated team of very competent doctors. We have a broad scope of practice, incorporating the latest techniques and treatments. Among my colleagues at Kaiser Permanente, I feel I am able to practice high-quality member centered medicine in a cost effective manner.
How I thrive
Southern California is a great place to be. The weather allows me to enjoy outdoor activities, including hiking and camping, with my family. Aside from work, I have a passion for playing the cello in chamber music groups and spending time with my family.
