About Me

Hello! I'm glad to have the opportunity to present my credentials to you and share other information about myself. It's very important that you feel comfortable with your personal physician, and I hope this page will help you start to get to know me.

Biography

I grew up in Southern California and stayed local for all of my schooling and training. I'm from the San Gabriel Valley area and love it here, so being at Baldwin Park only felt natural to me. I had an interest in medicine, and specifically pediatrics, since I was young. I would spend some of my vacations growing up spending time with physicians in their offices and also working at a preschool. Pediatrics was a perfect mix of my love for children and medicine. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, husband and daughter.

About my practice

My favorite thing about working at Kaiser Permanente is the team approach to every member. Our nursing and support staff are wonderful. My personal philosophy with my practice is to treat each child like I would want my child treated. I know as a parent that when something is wrong with your child, it can be very stressful, and I hope to alleviate some of that during my encounter. Also I hope to provide ways to prevent illnesses and injuries to your child, as preventive medicine is also very important to me.

How I thrive

I enjoy yoga and Zumba as ways to keep in shape both physically and mentally. I appreciate Kaiser Permanente’s thrive model as it incorporates the whole being and all aspects of caring for yourself. I also try to take a few minutes each day to reflect on my experiences from my day so that I can build upon those and always strive to be better.
