About Me
Hello! I am an ophthalmologist who specializes in cataract surgery and other general ophthalmology conditions, as well as a rare eye condition called Uveitis. Most of my training has been in Northern California where I attended Stanford University for college, University of California, San Francisco for medical school, and then completed my internship in Internal Medicine at Kaiser Permanente in San Francisco. I attended the Harvard Medical School Ophthalmology Residency program, then returned to San Francisco for fellowship training in Cornea and Uveitis at the UCSF/F.I. Proctor Foundation.
About my practice
I see patients with all general ophthalmology conditions. I have a special interest in a less common condition called Uveitis. My Uveitis patients are usually referred to me by my fellow optometrists and ophthalmologists. My team provides care for the whole patient, body/eyes and mind, and we hope to provide you with a very positive experience before, during and after your visit. My goal is to not only provide you with superb medical care, but to really listen and understand your questions and concerns regarding your eye care. Please come to your appointment ready to ask me questions!
How I thrive
I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2006 in Santa Clara, California, where I enjoyed 10 years of ophthalmology practice. In the summer of 2016, my husband and I moved out to Colorado to provide our three children with an ideal environment for growing up. I enjoy all activities with my adorable family! My family is a top priority. We love to travel, cook and eat meals together, engage in physical activity, and have family dance parties at home.
