About Me
Hello. Thanks for visiting my Web page. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2010 as a hospitalist, which means I care for patients in the hospital, not an office. I consider being part of Kaiser Permanente a privilege and an honor.
Biography
I was born in Myanmar (formerly known as Burma) but raised in Los Angeles. I did my undergraduate studies at Cal State Northridge and then went to St. George University School of Medicine in Grenada. I did my residency at Alameda County Medical Center in Oakland, where I worked with patients from underprivileged backgrounds. I love being a physician because there is never a dull day. Life is always filled with new challenges and innovations. I love caring for my patients, along with learning about new scientific breakthroughs, which is part of the reason I joined Kaiser Permanente.
About my practice
My duty as a hospitalist is to provide our members with a comfortable and compassionate stay while they’re hospitalized. I believe people should be free from stress while they concentrate on healing. I also believe that getting recommended vaccinations is a good way to prevent being hospitalized. So come on everyone, get your yearly flu shots!
How I thrive
I love the outdoors, including hiking and camping. My favorite sport is basketball, and I am currently learning to play cricket. My philosophy is go out there and conquer your fears. Never say never, and the word “impossible” should be thrown out of your vocabulary. You’ll never know if you can do it if you never try.
