About Me
Welcome! My name is Dr. James Lozano, and I’m a physician in the Internal Medicine Department.
Biography
I’m a native of Orange. In fact, even my mother was born and raised in the historic area of Orange. I attended school locally—from public school through my years at UC Irvine. I majored in biological sciences at UC Irvine, and then stayed on to attend medical school and my internal medicine residency. I’ve been with Kaiser Permanente since 1998. My passion for medicine dates back to my teenage years. My maternal grandfather had diabetes and he had complications related to this common adult disease. I knew one day I would devote my life to help care for people like him.
About my practice
My medical practice centers on the care of adult members. I care for adults in both outpatient and inpatient settings. I’m proud to be a Kaiser Permanente physician in Orange County. I’m also very proud of the devoted team here at the Tustin-Santa Ana Medical Offices. Our goal is to provide high-quality, personal, and compassionate health care to all our members. We strive treat all members like family. I’m your health partner—consider me a family friend helping you make your life as healthy and enriched as possible. Good health begins with each one of us. How I thrive
My hobbies center around my family. My wife and I have three kids. We all enjoy music, dancing, movies, and amusement parks. I particularly like the fast roller coasters.
