About Me

Welcome to my Web page, and thank you for taking the time to learn more about the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Department at Kaiser Permanente.

Biography

I come from a family of physicians; watching my grandfathers practice medicine sparked my interest in the profession at an early age. I was born, raised, and educated in India before coming to Chicago to continue my medical training. I moved to Southern California to complete my residency and fellowship and eventually joined Kaiser Permanente to start my pediatric hematology/oncology practice.

About my practice

I am part of a wonderful team of nurses and physicians at the children's oncology clinic here at our Lakeview Medical Offices. We strive to provide medical care for children with significant illnesses in a caring atmosphere. All of us share a "patients first" philosophy. We run an outpatient pediatric infusion center with nursing and home health support to keep your children out of the hospital and at home whenever possible. If your child does need hospital or after-hours care, you will be able to speak to one of us at any time.

How I thrive

Outside of medicine I have many interests, including music, cooking, gardening, reading, and enjoying my family. I love to take in the wonderful sights and aromas in my garden and the tastes and smells in my kitchen before relaxing to the sound of music-and I may even practice my singing.
