About Me

Hello, my name is Dr. Jason Kim. I'm thrilled to have this opportunity to introduce myself and present my credentials to you. It's very important that you feel comfortable with your physician, and I hope this page will help you get to know me.

Biography

I grew up in Seattle before moving to San Diego for my undergraduate education at UC San Diego. I attended Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine in Iowa and was fortunate to receive various academic scholarships throughout my education. I completed my residency training at the Kaiser Permanente San Francisco Bay Area Foot and Ankle Residency Program and currently enjoy every aspect of foot and ankle surgery including trauma care, sports medicine, minimally invasive surgery, ankle arthroscopy, complex forefoot and rearfoot/ankle reconstruction, deformity correction, and limb salvage. I am currently board qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

About my practice

I enjoy working at Kaiser Permanente because its model of healthcare allows for the practice of medicine based on research and current evidence. Providing high-quality care to members remains my ultimate focus. By working at Kaiser Permanente, I am able to continue my love of learning and improve in every aspect of foot and ankle surgery while serving those around me.

How I thrive

I love spending time with my wife and son. I enjoy sports and try to get outside whenever I can. I love living in the Inland Empire as well as experiencing all that Southern California has to offer. I am a big fan of movies and also enjoy listening to 80s music.
