About Me
I grew up in Tacoma, Washington. I completed my undergraduate education at the University of California, San Diego, and attended Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. I'm proud to say that my entire career and training have been with Kaiser Permanente. I completed training at the Kaiser Permanente San Francisco Bay Area Foot and Ankle Residency Program. After about 5 years of practicing at Kaiser Permanente Fontana Medical Center, I decided the time was right to move back home to be closer to family and friends. I chose to join Kaiser Permanente because of their evidence-based, collaborative approach to care. I enjoy working as a team with excellent clinicians and staff who are all striving to provide the highest level of care to our patients.
About my practice
My areas of expertise include foot and ankle surgery, trauma care, sports medicine, minimally invasive surgery, and ankle arthroscopy. I also focus on complex forefoot and hindfoot/ankle reconstruction, deformity correction, and limb salvage. I strive to treat my patients as I would want myself or my family to be treated. I try my best to treat my patients with respect and compassion. It's an honor and privilege to help care for others. I enjoy the challenges that come with medicine, from diagnosis to treatment plans. My goal is to always be learning and to help improve every aspect of foot and ankle surgery.
How I thrive
I love spending time with my family. I enjoy spending time outdoors, and the Pacific Northwest has so much to offer. I'm also a sports fan, and I love movies. Listening to 80s music is another way I like to recharge.
