About Me
Welcome to my Web page. I’m happy to have this chance to introduce myself and tell you something about my practice. I had no experience with Kaiser Permanente prior to participating in its Family Medicine Residency Program in Orange County, but I was so impressed with the care members received that I joined Kaiser Permanente after completing my training. I look forward to working with you to care for your health.
Biography
I am a native Southern Californian, originally from Riverside. I attended Stanford University, where I decided to pursue a career in medicine. After graduating from Stanford, I returned to Southern California and attended medical school at UC Irvine, where I met my husband. We have 2 wonderful daughters.
About my practice
I am thrilled to work at the Kaiser Permanente Mission Viejo Medical Office. I have a wonderful team of medical assistants and nurses who assist me in caring for members. Because I have young children, I have chosen to work part time. I typically see members 3 days per week. Same-day appointments are available with my fantastic partners when I am not in the office. I welcome members of all cultures into my practice, including the LGBTQ community.
How I thrive
My interests outside of work include reading, travel, and geocaching — an outdoor treasure hunt using a GPS device. Over the years, I have learned from members the importance of regular exercise. I am not much of an athlete and have never stepped foot in a gym, but I have found that a home treadmill works well for me and allows me to include exercise in my daily schedule. I encourage all members to find a regular exercise program that works for them.
