About Me
I’m originally from Southern California and have been licensed therapist for more than 25 years. I knew as soon as I took my first psychology class that this would be the right profession for me. I enjoy assisting others with developing psychological stability, strength, and flexibility. I’ve worked in various inpatient and outpatient settings but have spent the most time in private practice. I moved to Colorado with my husband and 2 children in 2005.

I specialize in developing a safe place for individuals to address their concerns. My goal is to create a trusting partnership that can restore hope and create change. I work with a wide variety of mental health issues that include depression, anxiety, grief and loss, parenting, and relationship issues. I use a holistic approach to treatment utilizing family systems, psychodynamic and cognitive theories to help accomplish treatment goals. It’s important to me to take the time to get to know my patients and understand their questions and concerns. We have a great team of therapists at Kaiser Permanente and I trust other providers to take excellent care of my patients if I’m not available.
How I thrive
I enjoy long walks with my Australian Sheppard, exercising, and spending time with friends and family. With both children in college now, I’m looking forward to enjoying more travel.
