About Me

Welcome to my Web page.

Biography

I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I have spent the majority of my adult life moving back and forth between the East and West coasts. I fell in love with sunny California while studying at Pomona College in Claremont. I attended Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and completed my residency in obstetrics and gynecology (ob-gyn) at UC Irvine. I headed back to Pennsylvania for a three-year fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at Magee-Womens Hospital of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. I am happy to be back on the West Coast, and I am thrilled to be part of the Kaiser Permanente team.

About my practice

I specialize in pelvic floor disorders, which can range from urinary urgency and incontinence to pelvic organ prolapse. It is important for women to realize that these are common, treatable conditions. I chose to go into this field because I believe that every woman has the right to enjoy a high quality of life. In my own practice, I offer a variety of treatment options, including both nonsurgical and surgical techniques.

How I thrive

I am a strong believer that maintaining a healthy lifestyle is the key to happiness. I try to eat a balanced diet and stay active by hiking and working out at the gym. I enjoy traveling, and I am always searching for a new adventure.
