About Me

Hi! I'm Sarina Cinco-Lumapas. I am happy to introduce myself and share with you a little about myself and about practicing ob/gyn care with Kaiser Permanente in Kern County. I'm a Filipino, and I speak English, Tagalog, Visayan, and Spanish.

Biography

I came to Bakersfield from 5 years at a private ob/gyn group practice in Modesto. I'm board certified. I graduated ninth in my medicine class in Cebu Doctors University in the Philippines in 1993.

About my practice

I trained in an inner-city hospital and have taken care of high-risk obstetric patients. I was mentored by a gynecological oncologist who helped me further hone my surgical skills. My goal of treatment is to be safe and conservative if possible. I encourage healthy living and preventive care to stay well. I make sure members understand their conditions and their treatment options.

How I thrive

Keeping balance in my life is very important to me. I'm a mom to 2 boys, and I’m a wife and a doctor. I can be a choir member or church volunteer on some days. I love what I'm doing! I'm thankful. It is crazy busy, but I am living healthy, surfing, and going with the flow and enjoying life. Kaiser Permanente’s philosophy of care always reminds me to care for myself and my family, and I share this with my members.
