About Me

I have worked in the health care field for more than three decades. I was a nurse practitioner in the newborn intensive care unit, taking care of tiny babies for more than twenty years. As my family aged, I realized I was more interested in helping people stay healthy. I went back to school and studied family medicine and love the variety it brings. I am a perpetual student. I find that there is always something new to learn because medicine is always changing.

About my practice

I believe that we all want to live the best life we can. My job as a health care provider is to help my patients achieve this goal. Being as healthy and happy as possible is a team sport. That is why I like practicing at Kaiser Permanente.

How I thrive

I enjoy exercising and spending time with my daughter and son. I am also an avid knitter and am learning how to spin yarn. My family and I love the Oregon Coast. Sometimes when we visit the beach I sit and watch the waves while working on a sweater.
