Biography
I grew up laughing and playing outside in Poway, California, which is a small city northeast of San Diego. I still enjoy laughing and playing outside as often as I can by hiking, biking, surfing, paddling, swimming, fishing, skiing, and much more. Swimming provided me a college scholarship and I (might) still hold a 1994 backstroke swimming record at Pepperdine University. Later on, as a Los Angeles County beach lifeguard, I met my amazing husband. He introduced me his hometown of Pacific Palisades, where we now reside and raise our 2 wonderful daughters. My training at Western University Osteopathic Medical School helped me further understand the important connections among the mind, body, and attitude. This was continued during my military training with the US Navy at US Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton and US Naval Hospital Guam, where I provided expanded medical care for military personnel, their families, and our island hosts.
About my practice
Since 2010, Kaiser Permanente has helped me continue to care for members in a phenomenal team approach. Please take control of your health and come see me at our Santa Monica office for regular preventive visits as well as when you are not feeling well. You can also take advantage of our amazing electronic medical system by emailing me or booking a telephone or video visit today.
How I thrive
Throughout my life, I have remained physically active as a means of preventive care. I encourage members to do the same, as it is a blessing with many rewards. Every day I find learning opportunities and ways to practice maintaining a good attitude and a healthy body.
