About Me
I am originally from Brooklyn, N.Y. I have called Georgia and Kaiser Permanente home since 1998. Prior to that, I had the opportunity to have worked in my chosen field of Ob/Gyn throughout the U.S. My belief that Kaiser Permanente represents the best in health care comes from my varied experiences and direct comparison to other systems. I very much enjoy my interactions with our members and my colleagues. I look forward to the future of Ob/Gyn and to the future of health care in America and Kaiser Permanente, each of which offers exciting prospects and innovations.
About my practice
My approach to the practice of medicine can be reduced to some rather simple ideas. While I am not always able to fix every medical problem I see, I can at least help define the issue and discuss options and strategies of coping and treating it. I work to help create a plan by which women can better proceed with their lives. Of course, one of the wonders and pleasures of my profession is the chance to help new lives come into this world. That makes my job special in a very remarkable way.
How I thrive
I like to break a sweat by exercising several times a week. I enjoy the diversion and distraction provided by a little bit of physical discomfort. I typically have my phone for entertainment, and I am usually listening to some music or an audiobook. Otherwise, my time is pretty full with my family. I have a wife and two daughters. We share the house with four dogs, four birds and a varying number of reptiles and fish. There is always something interesting and new going on at home.
