About Me

I'm originally from New York but have lived on the West Coast for twenty years. I moved to the Pacific Northwest for the outdoors and lifestyle. I enjoy the challenges of practicing medicine and the relationships I develop with patients. I couldn't imagine a profession more fun and fulfilling.

About my practice

I began my career in Emergency Medicine in Modesto, California and have practiced at several hospitals since moving to the Northwest. I have worked in large urban emergency departments, urgent care centers and occupational medicine clinics in Portland, Oregon. Working at Kaiser Permanente gives me the opportunity to have a balanced life and provide great care. I try to empower members to make healthy choices and work in partnership to attain their health goals.

How I thrive

I strive to take advantage of both Portland's outdoor activities and urban culture. I spend a great deal of time enjoying the great climbing and cycling at our disposal. I am an avid woodworker and am at present restoring my 100 year old Portland home.
