About Me
Welcome. I work in the Internal Medicine Department at the Inglewood Medical Offices. The physicians, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, nurses, and medical assistants here all work together as a team to try and give you high-quality care in a supportive atmosphere.
Biography
I grew up in Southern California and was motivated to become a physician through the experience of an illness in my family. I went to medical school in New Orleans and returned to the Los Angeles area for my training in internal medicine at the UCLA-San Fernando Valley program. In 2005, I volunteered with the Kaiser Permanente team of doctors and nurses who provided medical care in the Houston area after Hurricane Katrina. I have practiced at the Inglewood Medical Offices since 1989.
About my practice
As an internist, I specialize in treating adult patients, especially those with problems such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and high cholesterol. Preventive care is a large part of what we do, and I encourage my patients to help keep themselves healthy.
How I thrive
I thrive by taking care of myself: keeping a healthy diet, trying to exercise, getting enough rest, and enjoying the company of family and friends. I am convinced that our health, feelings of well-being, and quality of life are definitely improved by efforts like these.
