About Me

I grew up in Denver and moved back to Colorado after college to be an AmeriCorps volunteer at MCPN (now STRIDE community health center), prior to attending medical school at the University of Colorado. I worked as a doula and breastfeeding educator while with AmeriCorps, which sparked a long-term interest in breastfeeding, infant and child nutrition, and perinatal health. I completed my residency and chief residency at Children’s Hospital Colorado and joined Kaiser Permanente in 2014 as a pediatric hospitalist. In 2023, I transitioned to primary care pediatrics to be able to create longer term relationships with patients and families. After a brief time working in a local private practice, I re-joined Kaiser Permanente in April of 2025 and could not be more thrilled to be back with Kaiser Permanente and working at the Lakewood Medical Office.

About my practice

It is an honor to be trusted to take care of children and support their families as a pediatrician. I love taking care of kids of all ages and I have clinical interests in breastfeeding, complex care coordination, and managing infants born prematurely. I strive to listen well and to communicate effectively to best understand the needs of my patients and their families. I love medicine because it is a profession centered in lifelong learning, and I hope to remain curious while applying evidence-based medicine in support of my patients.

How I thrive

I love being outdoors whether on a walk in my neighborhood, camping in the mountains, reading a great book, doing puzzles, cooking, practicing yoga or, above all, spending time with my husband and 2 kids.
