About Me
Hello, and welcome to my Web page. Thank you for the opportunity to introduce myself, and share a bit about my pediatrics practice.
Biography
I was born and raised in Southern California, and completed my undergraduate and medical studies at UC San Diego. I did my pediatric residency at UC Irvine. I have known I wanted to become a physician since I was five or six years old. As children, my brother, cousins and I made up a game we called “Dr. Tangle.'' My brother and cousins would entangle all of their arms and legs to form a human ball. Then they would call Dr. Tangle (me) to untangle them. I thought it was fun to fix things and help others – even if it was the simple task of untangling my brother and cousins.
About my practice
I truly enjoy children of all ages. The cry of a newborn, the stories of the school-aged child, and the challenges of a teen are all music to my ears. My goal is to provide comprehensive care, and help guide my patients and their families down a healthy path.
How I thrive
Maintaining mental health and physical health are extremely important to me. I truly try to practice what I preach regarding daily exercise and healthy eating. I enjoy cooking and baking, and am the baker of the family, responsible for birthday cakes and cupcakes for all occasions. Golf is a sport my father introduced me to at the age of six. I played junior golf in my youth, and I now play in a local women's golf league. My other passion is sewing, embroidery, and quilting. When you visit me, you will see my needlework hanging in my office and exam rooms.
