Biography

I was born and raised in Calgary, Canada, and grew up in a medical family. I met my wife—who was born and raised in Los Angeles—while at my fellowship training at the John Wayne Cancer Institute in Santa Monica.

About my practice

I specialize in endocrine surgery and surgical oncology. I frequently treat thyroid, parathyroid, gastrointestinal, sarcoma, breast, and melanoma tumors. I have a special interest in thyroid and parathyroid surgery, and surgery of the adrenal gland. I’m active in research, and have published extensively in areas including primary hyperparathyroidism, and parathyroid and thyroid surgery. I’m a southern California regional resource for parathyroid surgery, including complex redo-parathyroid surgery.

How I thrive

I try to stay active by cycling, hiking, and running after my two kids.
