About Me
Welcome to my Web page. I hope that this brief introduction gives you a window into how I practice.
Biography
I was born in India and immigrated along with my family to Southern California. I went to Alhambra High School and graduated from Wilson High School in East Los Angeles in 1987. My parents instilled the work ethic and respect for my fellow human beings that has carried me throughout my life. I graduated from UC Davis and went to do my medical and neurosurgical training in Chicago, which I completed in 2001. After fifteen years in private practice in Reno, NV, I joined the Kaiser Permanente Neurosurgery Department in August 2016.
About my practice
My goal in each clinic visit is to listen to patients and understand the impact of their disease process on their lives and their family lives. I try to treat each patient as I would want my own family treated. I take care of a range of neurosurgical disease processes with an emphasis on complex spinal disorders. I value a team approach to caring for my patient with help from multiple specialties, in order to achieve the best results for my patients. In addition, I value the ability to stay current with medical and surgical advances.
How I thrive
I like to spend time with my family and friends. I also enjoy playing tennis and going to the beach.
