About Me
Welcome to my Web page.
Biography
I was born in Chicago. My undergraduate degree was done at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. I then returned to Chicago for medical school and my urology residency. After visiting California in 1990, I joined Kaiser Permanente and have been here ever since. Urology has been a great field for me. It has allowed me to practice medicine, perform surgery, and has exposed me to advanced technology. Keeping up with urology developments and the business world occupies much of my reading. I’m definitely not a couch potato. I come from a medical family—my late father practiced medicine and so does my sister.
About my practice
I practice general urology, often seeing members with kidney stones, impotence, prostate problems, and many types of urologic cancer. Being bilingual, I see members who need a Spanish-speaking urologist.
How I thrive
Aside from my work, I have many outside interests. I enjoy attending live sporting events, as well as classic rock, country, and jazz concerts. Golf and kayaking are two of my favorite pastimes. Traveling is another interest, along with wine tasting. My family and friends, though, are the most important things to me. I believe in a healthy lifestyle consisting of diet, exercise, and fun.
