Welcome to my Web page! I'm glad to have the chance to introduce myself and share some of my background with you. It's very important that you feel comfortable with your physician, and I hope this page will help you get to know me.
Biography
I was born in India but moved to Southern California at an early age. I received my undergraduate degree from UC San Diego, after which I pursued medicine at St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada. I then completed my residency in internal medicine at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital, and am now a proud member of the Kaiser Permanente family.
About my practice
I am an internal medicine hospitalist at this center , meaning that I care for members who have been admitted to the hospital. My primary professional focus is the general medical care of the hospitalized patients. I thrive on providing the high quality, compassionate and coordinated care by working as a team with specialty physicians and ancillary departments, such as physical and occupational therapy and nursing staff.
How I thrive
Having a balanced life is very important. In order to provide excellent care to my patients, it is important to take care of myself. I am a firm believer in eating health and staying healthy. I enjoy working out, including running and spinning, and spending time with my family.
