About Me

Hi! Thanks for visiting my Web page. I am an orthopedic surgeon. I was in private practice for ten years before joining Kaiser Permanente in 1992. Kaiser Permanente gives me the autonomy to practice medicine the way I feel my members deserve and also gives me the opportunity for a balanced life. I work with a team of excellent physicians and staff.

Biography

We moved to Riverside in 1992 and we love the city. We are fortunate to have three sons who grew up in Riverside and had a great education here. I graduated from Madras Medical College, a premier institution in Madras (now known as Chennai), India. My orthopedic surgery residency was completed at Coney Island Hospital and Maimonides Medical Center in New York. I am a board certified orthopedic surgeon and also a proud fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. I am a member of the Riverside County Medical Society and the California Medical Association. I also have a master's degree in business administration from UC Irvine.

About my practice

I am a general orthopedic surgeon. I love joint replacement surgery and also do hand surgery and arthroscopic surgery of the knee as well. I am blessed to have great members at Kaiser Permanente who follow instructions well and become a part of the treatment team. My happiness is seeing a successful outcome after surgery and to see the happy smile on the member's face. I like members to know their treatment options and I believe in preparing them optimally before surgery in order to give them the best chance at a successful outcome. If you are my patient, be prepared to do lot of exercises and participate in management both before and after surgery. My orthopedic practice is at the Kaiser Permanente Riverside and Moreno Valley Medical Centers.

How I thrive

I love playing golf, traveling all over the world with my family, and being involved with the local Hindu temple in Riverside. I'm sure you know, no golfer plays enough golf, and there is always another country or another exciting place to visit!
