About Me

I am a native of northern Ohio but grew up in the Birmingham, Alabama, area, where I developed a great love of community—BBQ, beaches, and college football. My family of 3 daughters and a wonderful wife share the same interests, and we take our vacations visiting family and chasing sporting events. I decided to become a physician assistant while in college (Auburn, OHSU, Nebraska) and have never regretted the decision. I like working with people as much as with my hands and found orthopedic surgery to be a perfect fit. I enjoy it more every year.

About my practice

As a physician assistant, my training has been unique and well-rounded. I have trained in trauma, sports medicine, and spine and joint arthroplasty. My duties include assisting in the operating room, making rounds at hospitals, managing a fracture clinic, and doing general orthopedic outpatient care. I take pride in getting to know our members and treating all like family.

How I thrive

I enjoy my family, friends, and work. You can often find me around town, golfing. I'm not the type to exercise on a daily basis, but I enjoy being in the outdoors and coaching youth sports teams. As they say in Alabama, War Eagle!
