About Me

My name is Melissa Hodeib. I am one of 2 children: my brother is an obstetrician/gynecologist and is a physician at Kaiser Permanente’s Fontana Medical Center. My parents were both born in Syria. I was born in Hollywood. I am fluent in Arabic and can speak a small amount of Spanish.

Biography

I received my bachelor’s degree in science at Loyola Marymount University and my medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences. I completed my residency at UC Irvine and my fellowship at UCLA and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

About my practice

I am here to care for women with gynecologic malignancies including ovarian, uterine, cervical, vulvar and vaginal. I also care for women with precancerous changes.

How I thrive

Keeping balance in my life is important to me. I am a believer in a healthy lifestyle that improves overall quality of life. I am an avid runner and weight lifter. I enjoy watching sports and spending time with my loved ones. I also enjoy traveling the world.
