About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to have worked at Kaiser Permanente for the past 30 years. I truly enjoy my wonderful colleagues and patients, and I look forward to working with you to care for your health.

Biography

I am a native Southern Californian who grew up as a Kaiser Permanente member. My mother was a nurse at Kaiser Permanente’s Los Angeles Medical Center when I was a child. Even as a youngster, I knew that I wanted to be a physician because I knew that I wanted to be able to make a real difference in people’s lives.

About my practice

My practice is in diagnostic imaging, also known as radiology. I chose this field because I’m fascinated by the technology that enables me to image the body in various ways and to act as a consultant to your physician to help provide information about your condition.

How I thrive

I have completed the Los Angeles Marathon four times, and I enjoy running and walking. I climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa in August 2013! I lift weights because I enjoy the sense of being physically strong. Yoga is a calming influence for me and I hope to make time to practice it more. I particularly enjoy my volunteer activities with museums and other art organizations in the Los Angeles area.
