About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I feel it is very important for patients to have some background about their physicians, and I hope the information here helps you get to know me better.

Biography

I grew up in Orange County, and attended college at Stanford University, where I decided I wanted to pursue a career in medicine – specifically in women's health after I had the opportunity to volunteer in women's health care at the university hospital. After completing my medical school and residency training, I served as a faculty member in the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at UC San Diego. While I was there, I had the privilege of teaching and training medical students and OB/GYN residents as well as seeing patients.

About my practice

I believe the physician-patient relationship is a very unique partnership. I hope to empower you with information to keep you healthy, prevent illness, and help you face your medical issues as an informed patient.

How I thrive

I believe in Kaiser Permanente's philosophy of total health in mind and body. I thrive by spending time with my family and friends.
