About Me

I grew up in a small town in Arkansas. I graduated from John Brown University and then Arkansas College of Medicine before venturing to Birmingham, Alabama, for a residency that combined internal medicine and pediatrics. Ultimately, I came to Portland, where I practice cardiology. I was drawn to becoming a physician ever since childhood and have found a career in medicine to be rewarding. It is truly an honor to take care of patients at crucial points in their lives.

About my practice

I enjoy partnering with patients to help them manage cardiovascular disease and achieve optimal health. I enjoy caring for adults with congenital heart disease and using specialized imaging, such as cardiac MRI and CT, to understand complex cardiac anatomy. Kaiser Permanente provides comprehensive, integrated care, focusing on the whole patient, not just their cardiovascular disease.

How I thrive

I thrive by exercising body through cycling and soul through regular attendance at church. I have a wonderful wife and two daughters. My family provides me immense support and joy.
