About Me
I grew up in Portland as the son of a Kaiser Permanente physician. I wasn't always sure I would end up in the medical field, but I'm thrilled to be here. After considering multiple careers, I realized the ability to improve a person's health was a chance to make a true difference. I trained with some leaders of emergency medicine on both coasts and am honored to carry on the emergency care tradition.
About my practice
Emergency medicine provides me the chance to make a difference in a time of great need. I take a lot of pride in feeling prepared to tackle any challenge - a trademark of my specialty. Above all, I recognize that I am treating fear and the unexpected in the Emergency Department. I strive always to provide patients with the power of understanding.
How I thrive
I am always up for a good time. I enjoy exploring new worlds with my family and spending time with my friends. I am constantly trying to keep up with my son, and expect that every day will be a little different. From building the best sandcastle and pitching the perfect tent, to attempting a recipe from the coast of Spain, we always try to keep it fun.
