About Me

I moved around a lot during my childhood before my family and I finally settled in Los Angeles when I was in high school. I then traveled across the country and braved New England winters to study biochemistry at Harvard. I returned to sunny Southern California to attend medical school at UC Irvine, where I met my husband and fell in love with Orange County. I then moved to New York City for my ophthalmology residency at NYU/Manhattan Eye and Ear. I endured my final cross-country move when I came to San Diego for my fellowship in glaucoma at the world-renowned UCSD Shiley Eye Institute. I am so excited to return to Orange County and serve this wonderful community!

Biography

Hello and welcome to my Web page! I am happy to have this chance to introduce myself and tell you about my practice. I feel very fortunate to be part of Kaiser Permanente because it allows me to work with such wonderful colleagues and patients. I look forward to working together with you to care for your health!

About my practice

I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to take care of your vision. Although I see and manage a wide range of eye conditions, my practice mostly focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of glaucoma. I perform various types of glaucoma lasers and surgeries as well as cataract surgery. My practice is based on patient-driven care. This includes putting an emphasis on preventive medicine, educating members about their condition or illness, discussing all of their treatment options, and helping them make the right decisions for their eye health.

How I thrive

Leading a well-balanced life is the key to fulfillment! I absolutely believe in Kaiser Permanente’s philosophy of health in mind, body, and spirit. In my free time, I enjoy exploring new foods/restaurants, traveling, staying active, and spending time with friends and family.
