About Me
Hi, I'm glad to have this opportunity to present my credentials to you and share other information about myself. It's important that you feel comfortable with your personal physician, and I hope this page will help you start to get to know me.
Biography
I moved from Colombia to New Orleans to finish my medical school. Then I moved to Southern California to continue my training in the art of obstetrics and gynecology. After completion of my Ob/Gyn residency, I joined a private practice group, which allowed me to fall in love with my profession. After five years in private practice, I was given the opportunity to join the Kaiser Permanente family.
About my practice
My career in medicine give me a very special opportunity to connect with and help people in a meaningful way—utilizing medical skills and knowledge, but also listening and responding to what members need. Being a doctor allows people to share with me their innermost secrets, fears, and hopes. It’s a privilege to help members understand what concerns them, translate what they may not grasp, get them appropriate evaluations, and communicate with them and their families. I feel very honored that members have entrusted me with their care, and I strive to treat them as I would my own family.
How I thrive
I firmly believe in Kaiser Permanente's philosophy of treating the whole individual, and try to live it in my life every day. My family life is my major priority. I enjoy soccer, kitesurfing, and a nice cup of coffee.
