About Me

After I graduated from medical school in Philadelphia, my husband and I moved to Los Angeles, where I trained in internal medicine at Kaiser Permanente in Southern California. After training, I remained at the same facility for 5 years before moving to the Northwest, where I was a staff physician for 10 years. For the last 5 years, I have worked as a locum—a physician who fills in for others.

About my practice

As a Chinese person living in the United States, I am influenced by the Chinese medicine philosophy that emphasizes leading a balanced life. I believe that lifestyle makes a huge difference in a person's health, and I encourage patients to be active participants in their health care. I am also trained in acupuncture, and I will use or teach its methods to help relieve pain and alleviate other health issues.

How I thrive

I am happily married with 2 children. I believe in God. I enjoy spending time with my children, just hanging out or going to their extracurricular activities. I am also an accomplished cook and an avid walker.  As a family, we enjoy traveling and exploring different parts of the world.
