About Me

I am a Denver native but I left the state for several years for college and medical training, spending some time on both the East and West Coasts. Colorado has always been home though, and I am thrilled to be back and delivering babies in the hospital where I was born! I became a physician because I wanted to be a positive force in my community, something I believe I can achieve by empowering and supporting women every day.

About my practice

I chose this field because I love partnering with women to help them make decisions about their health. I am lucky to be a part of each patient’s life at so many different stages – whether it is helping someone through a difficult pregnancy, guiding someone in choosing the right birth control, or supporting someone with symptoms of menopause. I love my job and I try to bring that passion into every interaction. I rely on evidence-based medicine to guide decision-making, but I also recognize that each patient is unique and deserves care that prioritizes her specific needs. I have a special interest in minimally invasive surgery and I speak Spanish.

How I thrive

I thrive by taking time to enjoy all of the natural beauty that Colorado offers. I am an avid hiker and runner and when not at work can usually be found getting into some sort of outdoor activity. I depend on quality time with my wonderful family and friends to help me re-energize and re-center. I come from a long line of librarians, so I am also a devoted reader and am always eager to pick up the next great book.
