About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am an obstetrician/gynecologist and I am happy to share some information about myself and my practice.

Biography

I am a native of Southern California, born and raised in Pasadena. However, during my education I have had the pleasure of traveling throughout the United States. I completed my undergraduate education at Stanford University in California and then completed medical school at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. From there I completed my Ob/Gyn residency training at the University of Texas in Houston. Since residency, I have worked in private practice and as a traveling physician in California, New Mexico, and Washington. During medical school I was drawn to Ob/Gyn because of the opportunity to provide a variety of different services to patients, including counseling, obstetric deliveries, gynecologic surgeries, and office procedures. I am thrilled to have returned to California to join the Kaiser Permanente family.

About my practice

I enjoy getting to know my patients, learning about their challenges in life, and celebrating their triumphs. As an Ob/Gyn I have the privilege of assisting patients during various important phases in their lives. My particular interests include weight management counseling and minimally invasive surgery. I am very passionate about counseling, teaching, and partnering with my patients to help them live their lives in good health.

How I thrive

I receive my energy from spending time with my family and traveling within the U.S. as well as abroad. I thrive by caring for my mind, body, and spirit through yoga, biking, jogging, singing (no, I don't sing well, but that's ok), dancing, or simply walking my dogs. I encourage my patients to seek wellness in all aspects of life and I enjoy working with them to achieve this goal.
