About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I feel fortunate to be a physician working for Kaiser Permanente at our Colton facility. I hope this Web page will tell you a little about who I am and help you to get to know me better.

Biography

I grew up in a small town in Georgia. My father was a small-town family doctor. I decided that was something I would like to do myself. I moved to Southern California to go to medical school, loved the area, and decided to stay. I have three children who are now adults and moving on with their lives. This now gives me time to do more things I enjoy, like singing in my church's choir, traveling, and spending time with my husband and our four dogs.

About my practice

I feel my main purpose as a physician is to keep my patients healthy and assist in the prevention of disease. I am also here to listen when there is a problem and work with my patients on solutions to getting better when they are sick. Through the years I have gotten to know my patients and many are now my good friends.

How I thrive

I believe in taking care of myself. I exercise regularly, going to the gym before I come to the clinic in the morning. I try to eat healthfully and get plenty of rest. In addition, I love to sing and I perform in my church's music department. I believe that music is a stress reliever and that singing can add years to one's life.
