About Me

I am from Long Beach, California. As a student I loved mathematics, science, and helping others. I found my passion for women's health in medical school. I came to Oregon Health & Science University for my training in Obstetrics and Gynecology. After years of sand, surf, and sun I fell in love with the Northwest and now consider it my home.

About my practice

I am devoted to the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology. My professional interests include cervical cancer screening, abnormal pap smear tests, contraception, infertility, abnormal uterine bleeding, midlife and menopause, general gynecology, early pregnancy loss, and low- and high-risk obstetrics. I am committed to lifelong professional learning. My philosophy is to understand my patients' concerns and offer appropriate care options. I welcome patients' questions and try to empower them to make the best care decisions for themselves. I consider myself very fortunate to work for Kaiser Permanente which allows me to coordinate my care with other physicians and providers to better serve our members.

How I thrive

I love being with my family. My husband and I have four children and five grandchildren. I try to stay fit by walking several times a week. I dabble in genealogy and learned that I am descended from four Mayflower passengers.
