About Me
Hi, and welcome to my Web page. I am glad to have this opportunity to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice as a pediatric anesthesiologist at Kaiser Permanente Fontana Medical Center.
Biography
Growing up in rural Taiwan, my first memories of medical care were of riding on the back of my grandfather's bicycle when he would take me to the local doctor. I knew there was something special in the man I saw. As I got older and had more encounters with doctors, I never ceased to be amazed by their ability to ease the discomfort of the sick. Naturally, when it came time to make a career choice for myself, I gravitated toward medicine. During my anesthesia training, I spent time doing pediatric anesthesia, which turned out to be a life-changing experience for me. I was privileged to take care some of the sickest of the sick babies and was amazed at the will and strength of these tiny little beings, who, despite all the obstacles life threw their way, could overcome and thrive. I knew then that I wanted to become a pediatric anesthesiologist, and now I am fortunate enough to do so with Kaiser Permanente.
About my practice
While I practice all aspects of anesthesia, my true love is taking care of children.
How I thrive
When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I stay in shape by running with my dog as well as doing yoga. I also enjoy traveling, skiing, reading, and gardening.
