About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I'm happy to introduce myself, and tell you about my practice. It is very important that you feel comfortable with your child's personal physician, and I hope this page will help you get to know me.

Biography

I am a native Southern Californian, born and raised in the Inland Empire. I attended UCLA as an undergraduate and medical student, and somehow, still found time to travel to many different countries. After finishing my medical training, I returned to my home to raise my children and practice medicine.

About my practice

Since joining the Kaiser Permanente Fontana Medical Center in 1999, I have enjoyed serving families of many diverse backgrounds. I believe that high quality medical care involves taking the time to listen to patients and parents as well as discussing the many aspects of treatment and preventive medicine. I try to empower my patients and their families by providing them the tools to make the best choices for their long-term health and wellbeing. In addition to my general pediatrics practice, I am involved in community outreach to improve childhood nutrition and fitness throughout the region.

How I thrive

I maintain my own wellness by staying active. I recently learned how to wake up early, and discovered it feels great to start my day with exercise. I enjoy local hikes and long bike rides with my husband, as well as cheering and supporting my family's numerous athletic activities. I like to end each day by sharing a healthy meal as a family. Staying connected with my extended family and maintaining a close, rich relationship with my teenage and young adult children helps me thrive.
