About Me
I'm glad to have the opportunity to present my credentials to you and share other information about myself. It's very important that you feel comfortable with your personal physician, and I hope this page will help you start to get to know me.
Biography
As a native New Yorker I completed my medical school and internal medicine training at the Albany Medical College in upstate New York in 1977 and 1980, respectively. I moved to San Diego in 1980 for my specialty training in hematology and oncology at UC San Diego and not surprisingly decided to stay in Southern California. I've been practicing at Kaiser Permanente since 1983.
About my practice
I am very proud of our Oncology Department here in San Diego. We make an effort to keep up with what's new and provide personalized care. We also have a very active Oncology research program and offer clinical trials for many types of cancer.
How I thrive
I am an exercise enthusiast and love to cycle and run. I was part of the eight-person RAAM (Race Across America) cycling team sponsored by Kaiser Permanente in 2004. I try to participate in at least one triathlon yearly and very much enjoy snow skiing in the winter.
