I grew up in the Willamette Valley and happily returned after completing my education. I've known I wanted to practice medicine since the age of 5 and have wanted to be a Physician Assistant (PA) since the age of 7 because my favorite medical provider as a child was a PA. I went to school in West Virginia stayed in there to work for two years before returning home. Upon returning to Oregon I met my husband and we now have a daughter and son.
I'm a certified Physician Assistant and have been practicing since 1998. My favorite areas of medicine are urgent care, sports medicine, lacerations and injuries. I enjoy being able to help people when they are hurt or injured. I want to support them and assist in their recovery. I enjoy the diversity of medicine in urgent care because it keeps me on my toes! I strive to give my patients all the attention and care they both need and deserve.
I thrive by soaking in my children and family. They are my joy, laughter, support and they re-charge my batteries. We attend church, ride bikes, camp and ski. Spending time outdoors playing in any weather brings a smile to my face and peace to my soul. My favorite thing to do is sit with my siblings and laugh so hard we cry.
