About Me

Welcome to my Web page. I am happy to have this opportunity to introduce myself to you and tell you about my practice.

Biography

I was born and raised in Shanghai, China, and I attended medical school in China. I pursued my internship and residency training as well as my geriatric fellowship training at LAC+USC Medical Center. I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2006. I feel so fortunate that I have been working in the geriatric clinic at Kaiser Permanente Panorama City Medical Center.

About my practice

Being a geriatrician gives me an opportunity to care for patients who frequently have very complex medical problems in addition to mobility problems, psycho-social problems, and spiritual concerns. I have an excellent team of a specialized nurse, social worker, case manager, and pharmacist who work together to provide expert care for seniors with Alzheimer's disease or related dementia. At the geriatric clinic, we also provide compassionate end-of-life care for older adults with a life-limiting illness. Palliative medicine and spiritual and psychological counseling help patients and their families discover greater meaning from life's journey.

How I thrive

I that believe maintaining a healthy balanced life between work and family is very important. I love reading books to my children, and on weekends we go hiking and exploring nature.
