About Me

Welcome to my Web page.

Biography

I am originally from Northern California and was born at Kaiser Permanente in Hayward Medical Center. I graduated from Occidental College in 1999 with a bachelor's degree in biology, and then completed medical school and Ob/Gyn residency at the University of Southern California. I had further training in urogynecology at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and graduated in 2011. I started working at Kaiser Permanente Woodland Hills Medical Center in 2011 in the division of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (Urogynecology), in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

About my practice

Some of the problems that I evaluate and treat are urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, pelvic organ prolapse (bladder, uterine prolapse), urinary bladder pain, and genitourinary fistulas. If you have any of these problems, you can ask your personal physician or general gynecologist to send me a referral or request for a consult.

How I thrive

Physical health and exercise are very important to me and I feel that they should also be important to our members. I hope that by leading a healthy lifestyle, I can set a good example. I have experience in fitness and weight loss training, and I go across the street to the Woodland Hills Athletic Club every day for a noontime indoor cycling class. On weekends, my husband (who is an ophthalmologist at Kaiser Permanente Antelope Valley Medical Offices) enjoys road biking and running. When we have time off we like to vacation in warm tropical countries where we can scuba dive, paddle board, kayak and hike. I also like to sew and design my own clothes. Baking is also one of my favorite pastimes. I make all my cookies and cupcakes from scratch.
