About Me

I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. I attended Wake Forest University where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. It wasn't until after I graduated that I decided I wanted to become a physician. I knew that I would enjoy the practice of medicine because I enjoy helping people and really appreciate the science and anatomy that come with a surgical practice. I studied my premedical courses while living in Boulder, Colorado, and was accepted to attend Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Toward the end of medical school, my wife and I married and had our first child. We moved to Madison, Wisconsin, for my residency and then I was hired on as staff there for 2 years. We have 2 daughters now and are enjoying living in Colorado. I am honored to be recognized as a 5280 Magazine Top Doctor in 2022.

About my practice

I am an otolaryngologist/head and neck surgeon, which means that I treat most ailments of the ear, nose and throat. I enjoy sinus surgery and nasal airway surgery but perform most of the surgeries that someone of my specialty is trained to do, including tonsillectomy, some head and neck cancer resections and ear surgeries. I believe that delivering excellent medical care starts by building a trusting relationship with a patient and that is something that I take very seriously. I try to listen to my patients and explain treatment options in an understandable way. I feel that I keep abreast of the latest treatments offered in our specialty, including balloon sinuplasty for surgery on the sinuses.
