About Me

Hello, and welcome to my Web page! I believe it is very important to feel comfortable with your treating physician, and I hope this will give you a bit of an insight into who I am and the vision for my current practice.

Biography

I was born in California, but did grew up and attended college in North Carolina. I then moved back for medical school and residency training at Loma Linda University. I consider myself very lucky to have experienced the best of two very different worlds, and it has ultimately shaped me into the person I am today.

About my practice

Physiatry is a newer specialty and many times I am asked the question - "what IS physical medicine anyway?" I like to explain physical medicine as a specialty that focuses on improving and maintaining a person's function and quality of life. We see conditions ranging from neck and back pain to different joint pains to carpal tunnel, and my ultimate goal is to provide holistic care to get patients back to those everyday, normal activities of daily life.

How I thrive

Outside of work, I love spending time with family and friends. I love good food and eating in general. This surprises most people given that I am quite petite, just barely reaching five feet tall! am full of energy and are often described as "bubbly," I am true kid at heart, which is evident by the fact that I continually renew my season passes to Disneyland!
