About Me

Welcome to my Web page! I am happy to introduce myself to you and tell you a little about my practice. I feel very fortunate and proud to work at Kaiser Permanente, and I look forward to working with you to care for your health and help you live well.

Biography

I grew up in Southern California and completed my undergraduate studies at Yale College. I then moved back to the West Coast to pursue my MD and PhD degrees at USC. I completed an internal medicine internship in New York and received my radiation oncology residency training at UCLA. I chose to become a doctor so I could help people and make an impact on my community. It is a great privilege and responsibility to be allowed into people's lives when they are sick, and it’s an amazing reward to watch them get better.

About my practice

Fighting cancer requires teamwork—between members and physicians, and really between all of the people who work in the health system to take care of our members. It requires a lot of hard work, good communication, and a commitment to excellence. I believe in helping each other, learning from each other, and thanking each other.

How I thrive

I try to live well by exercising, spending time with friends and family, doing arts and crafts, and trying new things. I've traveled to all 7 continents, and I am a certified yoga teacher as well.
